This module can be taken as a stand alone module or as one of the modules to achieve Level 6 QQI Advanced Certificate in Business 6M4985
Course Content:
- Master the essential skills and tools of Project Management
- Examine the key principles and concepts underpinning project management theory and practice
- Investigate a range of approaches to project management to include tools and techniques used to plan, cost and manage a project.
- Devise a risk analysis for a project to include the preparation of a contingency plan.
Course Delivery
This course is delivered through an Remote Teaching approach (unless otherwise stated) and are designed to inspire, motivate, facilitate, and support students in completing their QQI Qualification through a range of Virtual and interactive methods.
Students must have basic IT Skills.
Course requirements for Online Learning
- Access to the use of a laptop/PC/tablet/smart phone
- Google Chrome is the recommended browser
- Good internet connection.

Assignment 30%
Portfolio 70%
