Health Service Skills QQI Level 5
Objective of Course:
This programme is designed to enhance the skills and knowledge of those wishing to work in the Healthcare area, in particular Nursing Homes or in the hospital services as healthcare assistants, carers or persons interested in working with people with special needs.

Entry Requirements:
Leaving Certificate or equivalent, or Mature students, or work experience in a relevant area in lieu of qualification together with a strong interest in the provision of quality care. This course requires students to have Current Cork ETB Garda Vetting clearance. Students must obtain their own work placement.
PLEASE NOTE THAT Patient/Manual Handling are not offered in this course.
