Gillian Powell is a Business Owner and Lecturer. Teaching the Early Years Degree Programme in Cork College of Commerce night college in conjunction with Dundalk Institute of Technology. Gillian holds a Masters in Education and her specialism is Outdoor Learning in the Early Years. With over 32 years’ experience running her own company Gillian has worked on various projects and was instrumental in advocating for better conditions for early years professionals as part of the Together for Early Years march in 2020. Gillian is about to publish a series of booklets entitled Thrive – Outdoor Nature Activities for Children and Families – Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
