This webinar will focus on practical, evidence-based strategies to support students learning through the use of sensory resources. These provide students with a stimulating environment which encourages learning through play and exploration. These resources promote independence and skill development in children with SEN. This will span a range of domains including learning, positive behaviour and life skills. The webinar will explore sensory resources and discuss how they are of benefit to engage students in their learning. Then we will go on to discuss how to create simple sensory resources for both in school and at home. It is important that in today’s world we can create resources that allow for remote learning. Finally, we will examine strategies and techniques used to support students in the learning environment.
